Released as the third single, from the 2013 album AM, ‘Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High?’ remains one of the Arctic Monkeys most standout tracks and a personal favourite of mine. The heavy, molasses-slow rhythms, drawn from Dr. Dre brand of West Coast G-funk, and Alex Turner's use of broken rhymes and long, syllable-crammed lines, delivered in his characteristic sneer. Along with perfectly synchronized rock styling, shuffling danceable drumbeat and after hours creepin' bassline it sits proudly on a number of my playlists.
Printed on a soft and lightweight shirt, with the right amount of stretch - it's comfortable and flattering for all.
